Jeanie Zsambok, PH.D.

Dr. Zsambok provides Autism evaluations for adults and teens.  She has over 30 years experience working with people with developmental disabilities and recently has been focused on adult autism assessments, particularly for women.  Dr. Zsambok uses the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised, which is one of the two assessment tools that are generally considered to be the most thorough.  It is a complete evaluation- not just a short survey. Dr. Zsambok does the entire evaluation herself, from the initial intake to the final report.  The assessment usually involves an initial appointment to collect background information, then a longer appointment to administer the assessment tool that gathers the information about symptoms of Autism.

Dr. Zsambok will provide immediate feedback based on her initial impressions, with a final diagnosis in a thorough report to follow.  There is no unnecessary testing, so there should be no out of pocket expense other than any co-payments.   She accepts Medicaid and Medicare and most commercial insurance.  There is a private pay option as well.  Currently, she is scheduling patients out about four to six weeks, with full reports following in another four to six weeks.
